How RICE Scoring Works
The Formula
RICE = (R × I × C) ÷ E
R = Reach (number of users affected)
I = Impact (per-user impact: 3=Massive, 2=High, 1=Medium, 0.5=Low, 0.25=Minimal)
C = Confidence (0.1 to 1.0, or 10% to 100%)
E = Effort (person-months of work)
Scoring Guidelines
High Score (100+): High priority, consider implementing soon
Medium Score (50-99): Good priority, plan for next quarter
Low Score (10-49): Lower priority, consider later
Very Low Score (<10): Reconsider or deprioritize
